Where to stay

There is a block of rooms at Fairfield Inn and Suites Milwaukee North for Friday June 20th-Sunday June 22nd.

Booking is no longer available. If you need a place to stay, please reach out to me and I might be able to help.

There are plenty of other hotels and airbnbs but it is Summerfest weekend so rates are slightly higher than usual.

Friday Night

For those coming in Friday there will be a seafood boil possibly followed by a Riverwest bar crawl.

The day before party will be at an airbnb in riverwest. There is a large party room and patio to accomodate all the out of towners for some snacks, seafood and libations. RSVP for more details on that.

What to do saturday before the party?

Milwaukee is a fun city with lots to do.

Suggestions: Bradford Beach. Yes, Milwaukee has a legitimately great beach. The rules are no glass and no dogs. Most everything else is ok.

Summerfest: The worlds largest music festival is about a half mile from the party. Go check out some live music.

Discovery World: Have kiddos. Check out discovery world or number or other museums in town.

Potowatomi Bingo and Casino: Dangerously close to where the party is. Goodluck!

Brunch: Riverwest suggestions are Seven Swans Creperie (Crepes both savory and sweet) Cafe Corezon (mexican food that is pretty solid) Wonderland (slightly elevated basic breakfast food. Perfect for the pallet of Cindy Purdue or Lisa Butters)

Suggestions near the party are: Sobelmans (known for Burgers and their obnoxiously large and loaded bloody marys) Brunch (basic name but pretty good food) Miss Katies Diner (never had it but looks delicious and is super close)
